The ZERO Network

- The ZERO app is designed to guide both volunteers and people in need to our food checkpoints, communal kitchens, and all other logistics and questions.

Communal ZERO Kitchen

- Community kitchens open on weekends.

- Uses nearly-expired or surplus ingredients from partner stores.

- End the day by distributing containers to those who couldn’t attend.

- Low-tech phone and SMS helpline that connects elderly or tech-limited people to food aid, deliveries, and services — in multiple languages.

The ZERO Map

- The ZERO Map is a live, collaborative map of a city showing every food support checkpoint, community kitchen, and ZERO partner location.
- It’s both a tool for people in need and a hub for donors, partners, and volunteers.

- A reloadable debit-style card for families & individuals.

- Can be used to “buy” groceries from surplus partners or Zero Markets.

- Privacy-respecting, stigma-free, donation-funded.
